An Ode To Black Friday Fights

Not to go all graybeard on you guys, but I woke up this morning remembering the good ol' days of Black Friday. There is an entire generation of Americans that don't realize how much fun it was watching videos of people kick the shit out of each other before sunrise over a cheap TV or slightly discounted blender from the comfort of your own home while recovering from the carnage you unleashed on your body during Thanksgiving.

Sure there are plenty of more entertainment options now. You can stream any show or movie ever. Video games have evolved tenfold. And there are plenty of fight videos on the internet between people since the world seems to be fueled by hate now. But there was truly something magical about stumbling upon a video of people breaking down the doors of a big box score and trampling over total strangers over the mere prospect of being able to save a few bucks. All in all, it may not have been great for humanity. But damn it was fun to watch.

The one bright side in all this I suppose is not having to worry about losing life and limb to get a good deal. Now you can save a buttload of cash by shopping on the Barstool Store, which is 20% off all day. If you want to fight a complete rando afterwards has people look on with their phones recording in portrait mode, that's up to you. But it's not something you HAVE to engage in if you don't want to.
